What is the AION 2 pets guide?
AION 2 Pets is a searchable pet database and practical guide site — not a long wiki essay. Use it to filter companions by Genus, check Insight fields, separate mounts from combat pets, and follow short guides before spending souls. The catalog currently lists 15 entries and is growing toward a full 200+ pet coverage target; early rows may still be seed data.
How do pet souls work?
Soul costs are the first mechanic most players need. Treat the table as the working baseline for this site; in-game tooltips win if a patch changes values.
| Goal | Souls |
|---|---|
| Unlock a pet | 5 |
| Next stage after unlock | +25 |
| Insight Lv.3 total | Unpublished |
What Genus types can you filter?
See Genus Insight explained, then open the AION 2 pets list and filter by Genus:
- Cogni
- Fera
- Natura
- Varian
- Special
For role-based starting ideas, see best AION 2 pets. For unlock steps, read the first pet guide.
